Soul Social Studios is a full-service creative branding studio based in Charleston, SC. We go beyond aesthetics — we build brand identities rooted in strategy, psychology, and the unique story behind each business. Logo & Identity System

The logotype is built on an elegant, slightly condensed serif font that feels both confident and refined. Its proportions strike a balance between premium and approachable, mirroring the studio’s role as both strategist and creator. The symbol introduces an abstract emblem made from layered, overlapping lines, representing "soul" as something fluid, multi-dimensional, and interconnected. The interwoven loops form an internal community, while the overall organic shape subtly echoes a globe — pointing to a broader creative ecosystem.

Beyond the logo, we developed a flexible display system built from these elements. Linear forms evolve into patterns and overlays, while color blocks help structure layouts and typography plays a key role through bold, editorial compositions. Together, the system feels cohesive yet highly expressive, allowing the brand to adapt instantly across different digital and physical applications while staying recognizable.

Colors & Fonts

The typography pairs Instrument Serif with Arimo for a functional yet characterful voice. Instrument Serif adds elegance to headlines and core statements, while Arimo ensures high readability for body text across digital platforms. This combination bridges creative expression and modern stability.

The color palette balances warm earth tones with vibrant accents to create depth and contrast. The system uses grounding base shades like Leilani, Nutmeg Brown, Liquorice Black, and White alongside expressive secondary tones — Butter Yellow, Rose Lilac, Glossy Wood, and Nova. Together, they bring dynamic energy to layouts, digital platforms, and physical merchandise.

Website & Social Media

The digital presence spans web and social platforms with a unified, strategic look. It includes profile assets, cover banners, and a flexible grid system for social media designed to highlight custom iconography and bold layouts. The website design focuses on a contemporary user experience with clean grids, spacious layouts, and smooth transitions that present portfolios and services with clear authority.

Printed Media & Merch

The brand extends into tangible touchpoints to establish a cohesive physical presence. Applications include business cards, custom sticker sets, and branded merchandise like t-shirts and tote bags. On a larger scale, the system adapts to entrance signage and billboards, ensuring high visibility, consistent brand recognition, and clear communication in the real world.
