Tempo Consulting Group is a business and operations consulting firm that helps small and medium-sized businesses organize their day-to-day activities, making growth and scaling easier.

The Challenge

Tempo wanted a fresh new logo — something that felt structured but modern, with a symbol alongside text. Most consulting firms focus on typography, since they’re not selling a physical or digital product. But Tempo wanted something more creative — a hexagonal shape to reflect their focus on rhythm, repetition, and organization.

Beyond the logo, they needed a color system that would bring their brand to life online, along with custom graphics for their website to represent different services and industries.

For colours, we went with a purple and blue palette, adding darker colours for contrast and some punchy accent shades to break up visuals and highlight key actions on the website.

We started by refining the core brand concept around "tempo" and "rhythm" — ideas that include repetition, structure, and organization. These principles guided both the logo design and the overall brand aesthetic.

The hexagon became the backbone of the Tempo logo. We paired it with modern typography that feels professional but still approachable.

To add personality to their digital presence and web design, we created custom minimalist icons for different services and industries. They're simple, bright, and accessible.

We also developed a collection of stationery and documentation design to keep Tempo consistent in commercial channels.
